VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
UNITY OF GREATER NEW ORLEANS
Unity of Greater New Orleans is seeking faith-based or community organizations to assist with the Unity/DSS Housing Plus Program. The Housing Plus Program is helping homeless individuals and families move off of the street into their own apartments. We would like to match organizations with one of our 5 Rapid ReHousing agencies which are moving the families/individuals into apartments and then providing rental assistance and case management to them. Organizations would work in partnership with one of the 5 Rapid ReHousing agencies to assist families with:
- Furniture
- Household Furnishings
- Food
- Other activities, if possible, such as help with transportation, finding employment, etc.
