Creating communities of care and inclusion depends on the advocacy and hard work of all. Please join us in supporting policies and strategies that make housing more affordable for everyone and direct resources to vulnerable families and disabled people experiencing homelessness.
The People’s Council is a movement of people with lived expertise in homelessness organizing for human rights and housing justice. We meet monthly on the last Tuesday to advise UNITY and support the work needed to end homelessness. If you are currently unhoused or formerly experienced homelessness, sign-up to volunteer.
UNITY Advocacy Committee organizes monthly actions for the members of the Service Providers and Professionals Association. We promote policies that recognize the dignity of people who are unhoused, that work to prevent and end homelessness, and that support organizations who provide housing and supportive services to those whose homelessness we have helped to end.
