UNITY was interviewed April 13 by NPR’s Jeremy Hobson on Here and Now. “We’re scrambling to take care of people… We’ve always felt urgency about the work of housing the homeless because of their fragile health conditions, but now the work has become frantic… Our big focus is on moving people off the street, where there is a lack of sanitation, food and water, into individual living units where people can self-isolate.”
