2022 New Funding Opportunities

UNITY of Greater New Orleans, the lead agency for the Homeless Continuum of Care (CoC) for New Orleans, Jefferson Parish and Kenner, is seeking proposals from non-profit and government agencies to select project sponsors for the 2022 HUD CoC funding competition. These RFPs reflect the funding priorities adopted by the CoC Governing Council that can be addressed with HUD CoC Funds in the 2022 competition.

All new project proposals must be submitted via email to proposals@unitygno.org no later than 12:00 p.m. noon on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. 

Some funding  opportunities have a preference for new project sponsors who are not currently funded through the CoC program.

Respondents will be notified by Friday, September 9, 2022 of local selection of project sponsors to be submitted in the local CoC application to HUD.

Expected announcement of awards by HUD in the spring of 2023 with start dates expected in the summer or fall of 2023.
