2023 CoC Funding Competition
HUD has published the 2023 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Continuum of Care Program. UNITY of Greater New Orleans coordinates the local application for submission to HUD for the homeless continuum of care (CoC) in New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and Kenner. This page provides information for the community and CoC agencies about the local funding process. New applications for funding should be submitted through a response to Request for Proposals.

Suggestions for CoC Funding Priorities and Project Scoring Criteria
The CoC is interested in suggestions from community organizations, people who have lived homeless experiences, and other community partners about community needs, funding priorities, and criteria for scoring and prioritizing projects for funding. We are particularly looking for suggestions about funding gaps and addressing disparities.
Please participate in the online input session or submit suggestions through this form no later than August 11, 2023.
The Community Meeting to seek input and suggestions will be held online on Wednesday, August 9 at 9 a.m. Please register using this link to be sent the meeting link.
We encourage participation from people who have experienced homelessness, organizations that serve and are led by people of color, LGBTQ+ community, people with disabling conditions, people whose primary language is not English, and are from all areas of New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and Kenner.
