UNITY of Greater New Orleans, the lead agency for the Homeless Continuum of Care (CoC) for New Orleans, Jefferson Parish and Kenner, is seeking proposals from non-profit and government agencies to select project sponsors for the 2023 HUD CoC funding competition. These RFPs reflect the funding priorities adopted by the CoC Governing Council that can be addressed with HUD CoC Funds. Selected project sponsors will be included in the project applicaiton submitted to HUD by the CoC in the 2023 funding competition as sub-recipients of UNITY. Agencies not currently funded by the CoC are encouraged to apply.

All funding opportunities have bonus points for new project sponsors who are not currently funded through the CoC program.

The Governing Council establishes funding priorities in coordination with government partners and through the valued participation of stakeholders including: people with lived experience, Racial Equity Task Force, Human Trafficking Task Force, Government partners, CoC member organizations, and other community partners.
