Request for Proposals to Assist People Experiencing Unsheltered Homelessness

UNITY of Greater New Orleans, the lead agency for the Homeless Continuum of Care (CoC) for New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and Kenner, is seeking proposals from non-profit and governmental agencies to provide housing and services for people who are experiencing unsheltered homelessness.

UNITY of Greater New Orleans has released the following RFP’s to identify project sponsors for projects that will serve an integral role in our community’s work to end homelessness for people who are unsheltered:

All new project proposals must be submitted via email to proposals@unitygno.org no later than 12:00 pm noon on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.   Both non-profit and governmental agencies are eligible to apply; agencies that are currently members of the CoC’s SPPA, as well as those agencies not currently receiving funds through the Continuum of Care, are equally encouraged to apply.

The Evaluation and Project Selection Committee will also consider a proposal for funding from the HMIS lead agency ViaLink to address HUD’s special NOFO. The Committee will evaluate and score each proposal based on the criteria established in each RFP and may adjust amounts available under each RFP component.
