You can house homeless families by making a GiveNOLA pledge by 3 p.m. today!

Dyrick Newton and his five children

Making a pledge is easy; submit your pledge form here.

Dear friend,

Today is the last day to make a pledge to our GiveNOLA campaign to house every homeless family in New Orleans.

You can help families like Dyrick Newton’s, pictured above.

When Mr. Newton, who is legally blind and has kidney failure, became homeless, he and his five children were forced to live in their car. But because of community donors like you, the Newton family now has a home of their own, and he and all of his children are thriving.

Here are two ways you can give today:

1)      Give directly to UNITY on our secure website at www.unitygno.org (powered by Network for Good) OR

2)      Submit a pledge form here that the Greater New Orleans Foundation will count towards UNITY’s eligibility for matching funds! If you have any questions or if you would prefer to make a pledge over the phone, please call UNITY at 504-821-4496 ext. 109.

The need is great, but with your help, we will end people’s suffering.

Please make a pledge by 3 p.m. today so that it can qualify for GiveNOLA lagniappe matching funds from the Greater New Orleans Foundation — and help even more families.

Thank you so much for your compassion and your generosity.
